Abigail is a fiddle player and singer. She has performed solo and in various collaborations at concerts, festivals, dances, and events all over the United States and beyond.
On the fiddle, she draws largely from old-time, bluegrass, and country genres. She has also accompanied spoken word and storytelling artists, played in a post-rock band, led a chamber orchestra as concert mistress, and fiddled for square and contra dances.
As a vocalist, she sings unaccompanied ballads, honky tonk songs of heartbreak, and high and lonesome bluegrass standards.
Abigail’s soft, clear voice is rich with the memories of the mountains – Beth Miller-Herholtz
